Passion for Hosting

We’re Lenny and Teresa Sharp. We developed a passion for hosting guests during our four year assignment to Yokohama Japan. We were blessed to spend out time there in a beautiful apartment with a spectacular view of Yokohama Bay. We had many friends and family make the trip to Japan, and had the pleasure of hosting them in our apartment. When it was time to return to the U.S., we chose a home in the Sierra Foothills, just outside of Yosemite National Park. We utilize the first floor of our home as a 2 bedroom Airbnb, offering a great space for a mountain getaway to visit Yosemite, Bass Lake and the surrounding area. Hundreds of couples and families have had a 5 star experience in our beautiful space. A few years into our hosting journey, we decided to expand to Mariposa, an historic gold mining town just 40 minutes away, with access to Yosemite from another highway in the area. Our Mariposa Retro Retreat is like a step back in time, a Mid Century Modern 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home within walking distance of shops and restaurants in this quaint town. Last year, we expanded again, this time to the Lone Star State, with a MidMod home in San Antonio, complete with a pool. Our “Alamo City Oasis” is centrally located to all the sites, and provides a great spot to see this historic city.
